Keynote speakers

Prof. Yoshiyuki Kawazoe has kindly accepted to be a keynote speaker in ANSCSE 16. He has been in the professorship at the Institute for Materials Research, Tohoku University since 1990. His main research theme is "computer simulation for materials design". He published more than 50 books and more than 800 ISI journal papers with more than 8500 total citations. He is also a founder of the Asian Consortium on Computational Materials Science (2000~). [Abstract of his talk]



Prof. Ulrich H. E. Hansmann has accepted to be a keynote speaker in ANSCSE 16. He has recently joined the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at University of Oklahoma. He leads an active research program in areas of development of global optimization techniques and modeling of biomolecular and complex systems. Dr. Hansmann has authored and co-authored more than 180 publications which receive 200-300 annual citations. His H-index is 31. Since 2006 he organizes a series of annual workshops “From Computational Biophysics to Systems Biology”. In ANSCSE 16, he will give a talk entitled “In Silico Folding and Interactions of Proteins”.  [Abstract of his talk]


Prof. Jörn Sesterhenn has accepted to be a keynote speaker in ANSCSE 16. He is the Professor and Chair of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Group in TU Berlin. He will give a talk entitled "Adjoint methods for optimization and data-assimilation in fluid mechanical applications". [Abstract of hist talk] [CV]


Mr. Sunvaris Uywattana has accepted to be a key note speaker in ANSCSE 16. He is working in maintenance section for Gas Separation Plant, PTT Gas Unit. He will give a talk entitled "Simulation for Maintenance PTT Gas Separation Plant". His fields of specialization include pressure vessel design , waste heat recovery unit and EPCm.
